The new museum spans a surface area of 300 m² on the second floor of the arrival station for the Serauta funicular lift. From the museum’s windows you can see the outposts where soldiers fought in the Great War. The exhibit starts with an entry ramp that evokes a bridge across a crevasse. From here you access the hall that illustrates what life was like for the local population before the war broke out. Right after that there is the section on the first year of the war and the transformation from common man to soldier that constitutes the premise at the heart of the museum.
