Music, remembrance and the mountains come together at 3,265 metres on the Queen of the Dolomites. The Cadore Alpine Brigade Veterans’ Fanfare will ascend the Marmolada to honour those who made history on these peaks.
The day begins with the first cable car journey at 9.00 am. This is followed by a musical procession from the midway station to Punta Rocca, offering a unique and unforgettable moment of beauty. There will be a guided tour of the Great War Museum. Please note that this must be booked well in advance.
The Fanfara Congedati was founded in 2003 to preserve the memory and traditions of the Cadore Alpine Brigade, which was disbanded in 1997. A living heritage that once again resounds in the most evocative setting of the Dolomites.
