HOLY MASS – “I RAISE MY EYES TOWARDS THE MOUNTAINS”

26th August 1979 – 26th August 2017. 38 years have passed since the visit of Pope John Paul II to Punta Rocca. In that day, the Pope consecrated the Cave and the statue of St. Mary of the Snows. This was a unique event for the Marmolada and for the whole Pettorina valley. Because of that, also this year, the company Marmolada S.r.l. has decided to organise a Holy Mass to remember that important visit.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Cave of St. Mary in Punta Rocca Station, by the Bishop of Belluno-Feltre, Monsignor Renato Marangoni, with the songs of Coro Alleghe, at 11 am.

The cable way will remain open to the public.
