The Fanfara Congedati Brigata Cadore on Marmolada.
The Fanfara Congedati Brigata Alpina Cadore goes on Marmolada’s top to honour the memory of all people who have fallen on the peaks of the Dolomites. An impressive event with mountain songs.
The Fanfara Congedati was founded in 2003 from the “ashes” of the previous armed Fanfara of Brigata Alpina Cadore, which was closed like the namesake brigade in 1997. The aim of its members is to preserve the memory and traditions of years of alpine history and to prevent the death of the memory of the Brigata Cadore.
PROGRAM
9:00 Meeting by the departure station of Marmolada’s cable car in Malga Ciapela.
9:30 Parade towards the cable car station and flag-raising ceremony in the presence of authorities and Italian and Austrian historical reenactors.
10.45 Performance of mountain songs on the panoramic terrace of Punta Rocca station at 3.265 m.
11.45 Performance of mountain songs by the monument to the fallen by Serauta station at 3000 m.
