CoVid-19

Ihr nächster Besuch auf der Marmolata – FAQ

Since March, we all had to learn how to coexist with CoVid-19. Many aspects of our everyday-life have changed, as well as our way of working, travelling and living.

In the first place now, there is only one word, only one clear rule: SECURITY. During last Summer, we did what we could to guarantee you some peaceful moments in security, admiring one of the most spectacular landscapes of the whole Dolomites. Now, we can’t wait to welcome you again, in security on a snowy Marmolada. Unluckily, it seems that we have still to wait a while, because this bulky virus is again spreading in a second wave of infections.

Holidays might not be your priority right now, but we hope that you don’t have lost your desire to dream distant or nearby places to explore, when we will be finally free from this pandemic. For this reason, we have decided to answer here below to some of the many questions, which we are receiving.

At the moment, we don’t have any certain information. Unluckily, the second wave is still on and if we open, we are going to do it only under the best security conditions we can offer to our customers and to our team. Obviously, we hope to be able to welcome you again as soon as possible, we really care about you and we really want you to be able to ski again and to enjoy the beauty of the snowy Dolomites.

This is certainly a measure that needs to be discussed at a governmental level with the companies involved. What we can promise you is that if we open, we will try to take any necessary measure needed to guarantee you a safe transport to the top, reducing also the capacity of our cabins, if necessary. We will also continue to sanitize the stations, the cabins and the halls several times per day, fully respecting the directives of the health authorities.

When we open, extraordinary measures will be taken in that sense to guarantee you a totally safe experience, maintaining the right distance to peacefully buy your tickets and board on the cabin.

In this sense too, we need to wait for the next Governmental decrees, because at the moment, all the museum in the yellow/red areas are closed. When it opens, the Museum of the Great War will always give the free access, but we will ask you to keep the security distance. In case of a relevant influx of people, we could foresee a temporary maximum quota of the entries, however this could generate a waiting-time for visiting the museum. Anyway, we will do our best to promptly give you all the info to live in the best way possible your visit to the museum and to Marmolada.

At the moment, the tickets of our cable car are not available online. However, you can buy online the ski-passes of Dolomiti Superski, which can be withdrawn at the ticket box that you can find also at the entrance of the ski-pass office nearby the departure station of the cable car in Malga Ciapela.
