Marmolada – Move To The Top Winter events


From 15th December 2018 to 7th April 2019 – Museum of the Great War/Museo Marmolada Grande Guerra 3000 m


The free guided tours to the Museum of the Great War in Serauta are back even for this Winter 2018/2019. The guide will make you discover interesting aspect of the life of soldiers in trenches on the Dolomites and in particularly on Marmolada glacier. The tour is included in the ticket of the cable car, but it has to be booked in advance, calling the following number: +39 334 6794461.

28th December; 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January 2019 (every Friday) – Serauta and Punta Rocca


Even the “Sunrise from the Queen” will be back this Winter. A cabin goes up, hanged on a cable, plunged in the dark, a good cup of hot coffee in the hand and in front of you just sharp peaks, valleys still asleep and the sun rising from behind Civetta mountain, bringing back a bit of colour to the black night sky. All this is waiting for all the people who will participate to this breath-taking event, which will take place every Friday in January.

It is always better to book in advance the ticket of the event to:


6.30 am Departure from Malga Ciapèla;

6.45 am Short coffee break in Serauta;

7.00 am Trip to Punta Rocca for the natural show;

7.30 am  – For skiers: Trip back to Malga Ciepèla skiing and then to Serauta again by cable car for the brunch, before  the opening time (8.40), but only for the owners of a valid ticket (Superski, ecc.);

– For non-skiers: Trip back to Serauta by cable car for the brunch and then free return to Malga Ciapèla.

TICKET: 40 € per person

The ticket includes:

– Ticket for the trip to Punta Rocca at 6.30 am;

– Coffee break in Serauta;

– Generous brunch in Serauta restaurant;

– Ticket for the trip back to Malga Ciapèla.

From 28th February to 5th March 2019 – Serauta and Malga Ciapèla


During the whole Carnival week, in Malga Ciapèla Bar, nearby the departure station of the cable car, and in Serauta self-service restaurant, you will have the opportunity to taste some particular local desserts, which are normally prepared for important event or for Carnival: the “chiacchiere”, here called even “fiorostide”. A dessert of the local tradition not to be missed.

24th March 2019 – Serauta


Tasting of wines at high altitude, organised in the fascinating Arabba-Marmolada Ski area. On an already designed route among different huts, the skier can taste wines from different wine cellars and eat some appetizing delicacies prepared by the owners.

PARTICIPATION FEE (Skipass excluded):

Participation fee with a Ski teacher: 25,00 € per person.

Participation fee without Ski teacher, but in groups: 20,00 € per person.

6th April 2019 – Punta Rocca


La Sbrisèda is back! A breath-taking descent along the Bellunese dressed in vintage clothes and with vintage skis. An appointment already consolidated, thanks to a group of young and joyful coordinators from the Pettorina Valley.

7thApril 2019 – Punta Rocca


Saturday, 6th April 2019, Moreno Pesce, together with Gianluigi Rosa, trans-femoral amputated like him, will face the ascent of Marmolada glacier from Passo Fedaia to Punta Rocca, helped by two mountain guides, by crampons under the shoes and by his enormous will of living.
This is an event that aims to show how Dolomites and Marmolada, in particular, are mountains truly accessible to everyone. A symbolic moment on the occasion of the first ten years of Dolomites as Unesco World Heritage and after one year since the creation of “Dolomiti Accessibili” project.

7th April 2019 – Malga Ciapela


To end joyfully this winter season 2018/2019, we invited “Desperados”, a funny group from Comelico, to held a concert on the terrace of Malga Ciapela Bar, from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Everyone is invited!

7th April 2019 – Punta Rocca


Spectacular free descent along the legendary ski slope “La Bellunese with snowshoes and crampons. From Punta Rocca to Malga Ciapela, 12 km of pure emotions.


2.00 pm Meeting by the station of the cable car in Malga Ciapela for the enrollment;

4.15 pm Start for the category “crampons”;

4.20 pm Start for the “category” snowshoes;

6.00 pm Award ceremony.

ENROLLMENT FEE 15,00 € including:

  • Transport via cable car;
  • Racing bib, timing;
  • Restoration at the arrival;
  • First aid assistance;
  • Entrance at I World War Museum.
